Minimum School and Student Sample Sizes for Reporting Group Results

To help in the interpretation of results, NAEP staff use the NCES statistical standards when reporting results. In addition, there are several statistical reporting guidelines that pertain specifically to NAEP that address minimum effect sizes, sample representation, and the reliability of standard error estimates.
