Major Findings

  • Approximately 61 percent of participating fourth-graders attained a level of 3 or 4 on the fluency scale, putting them in the "fluent" range.
  • Approximately 40 percent of fourth-graders attained a "nonfluent" rating of a 1 or 2 on the fluency scale.
