Sample Essential Response

In this response, the student offers a partial description ("the bird in the sky"); two descriptions that are too general ("the whole room as a sign of peace and coolness" and "illusions of furniture some chairs with no legs"); and finally two observations that are specific and thoughtful about the tools and the mother and child.
