Trends in Student Groups

In addition to presenting information about all students’ performance, the long-term trend assessment looks at the achievement of various student groups defined by shared characteristics. Examining those results reveals how these students performed in comparison to each other in 2004 and whether the performance of student groups has improved. Identification of students as members of these groups is based on responses to the student background questionnaire (439K PDF). For additional information, read how the long-term trend assessment was administered.
