Accessible Sort is an alternate way to sort search results. To start, select the Accessible Sort link at the top of the results table.

The popup window presents the current order of the columns.

Below that are drop-down column lists ... and selectors for ascending and descending sort order.

If you wanted to change Year order to ascending from the current descending order, you would select Year from the first drop-down list...

and then select the Ascending button, which happens to be selected by default.

Click the Set Order button to initiate the sorting change.

The Year column is now sorted in ascending order. Let's make changes to sort on other columns.

The sort for each column in this list is dependent upon the sort of the column above it in the list. If you wanted the difficulty column to sort first, you would want that column at the top of this list. Make that change by choosing Difficulty in the first drop-down list.

Then, for example, if you wanted the question type column to sort after Difficulty, choose Type in the second drop-down list.

You can leave the other drop-down lists unselected. Unselected columns will retain their original order and come after the selected columns.

Click the Set Order button.

With this new sort order the list is sorted by level of difficulty first, then question type, and then the other columns. This list is sorted by easy multiple choice questions ... followed by easy constructed response questions ... followed by easy extended constructed response questions ... followed by medium difficult multiple choice, and so on.
