Major Findings

  • The percentage of fourth-graders performing at or above Basic increased since 1994.
  • In 2001, 21 percent of fourth-graders performed at or above the Proficient achievement level.
  • There were no statistically significant changes in the percentages of fourth-graders performing at or above Proficient since 1994.
