Major Findings
- The percentage of eighth-graders performing at or above Basic increased since 1994.
- In 2001, 30 percent of eighth-graders performed at or above the Proficient achievement level.
- There were no statistically significant changes in the percentages of eighth-graders performing at or above Proficient since 1994.
