The following table displays the number and the percentages of students who were identified as SD and/or LEP and who were assessed with a variety of available accommodations. It should be noted that students assessed with accommodations typically received some combination of accommodations. For example, students assessed in small groups (as compared to standard NAEP sessions of about 30 students) usually received extended time. In one-on-one administrations, students often received assistance in recording answers and were provided extra time. Extended time was considered the primary accommodation only when it was the sole accommodation provided. It is important to note that the numbers or percentages shown reflect only the primary accommodation students received.

| SD = Students with Disabilities. LEP = Limited English Proficient students. NOTE: The combined SD/LEP portion of the table is not a sum of the separate SD and LEP portions because some students were identified as both SD and LEP. Such students would be counted separately in the bottom portions, but counted only once in the top portion.
