NCES/AIR Policy Fellow Matthew Soldner has launched the first of a series of studies focused on campus use of peer comparison data.
Funded by NCES, the initial project is directed to campus chief executives and IPEDS keyholders, and seeks to understand how peer comparisons of institutional data--like that provided by the Data Feedback Report (DFR) or through participation in data exchanges or consortia--are used to facilitate decision making. You are invited to participate! To do so, visit: http://www.airweb.org/irsurvey.html. For more information, contact Matt at email@example.com.
Also, please note that the IPEDS Help Desk is currently reviewing all data submitted during the fall 2008 collection period, and will be contacting keyholders to resolve any questions that may arise during that review.
