Purpose: The Education Privacy Working Group will review the current Forum documents on privacy and determine the scope of the revisions needed based on recent FERPA guidance and the change in the education climate (ex. Hurricane Katrina, Homeland Security, etc.)
Current Tasks: The Education Privacy Working Group will determine what changes are necessary in current privacy documents based on changes in FERPA and in the education climate. The group will work on a single revised privacy product that would replace all current documents (resource for schools, LEAs and SEAs).
Meeting Schedule: This working group will meet in November/early December, and then again on February 28, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona.
