Data about AYP status and related statuses. All the statuses collected in this file specification should be based on the assessments that occurred during the reporting school year. The data group is submitted at the following levels: • School • LEA


Data Set Items

    Alternate Approach Status - An indication of whether the school used an approved alternate approach for calculating Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).

    AMAO Making Progress Status for LEP Students - An indication of whether the state/LEA met the Annual Measurable Achievement Objective (AMAO) for making progress in learning English for limited English proficient (LEP) students under Title III of ESEA as amended by NCLB.

    Code Set:

    • METAMAOLEP - Met the Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO) for Limited English Proficient (LEP) Students
    • NOLEPSTUDENT - No LEP Students
    • NOTITLEIII - No Title III Funding
