Dropout (eden_032)

Description

The unduplicated number of dropouts (students who were enrolled in school at some time during the school year, were not enrolled the following school year, were expected to be in membership (i.e., were not reported as dropouts the year before), did not graduate from high school (graduates include students who received a GED without dropping out of school) or completed a state or district-approved educational program, and did not meet any of the following exclusionary conditions: (1) transfer to another public school district, private school, or state or district-approved educational program, (2) temporary school-recognized absence due to suspension or illness, or (3) death). The data group is submitted at the following levels: • SEA • LEA • School

    The grade level (primary instructional level) of students at which students decided to leave school before graduating.
