IPEDS Conpendium Tables

In addition to the more concise E.D. TAB/First Look tables, NCES also produces these compendium tables as part of each survey cycle to provide the user with more detailed information on the various topics covered by the IPEDS components.

Printing Tip: Tables containing more than six columns are best printed using landscape format.

IPEDS 2009:

Fall Compendium Tables

The tables in this compendium present counts of institutions by selected institutional characteristics including tuition, fees, and other costs. Tables also present data on the number of degrees and other formal awards conferred during the period July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 by Title IV postsecondary institutions, as well as 12-month enrollment for the 2008-09 academic year.

Winter Compendium Tables

The tables in this compendium include data on the number of staff employed in Title IV postsecondary institutions in fall 2009 by primary function/occupational activity, length of contract/teaching period, employment status, salary class interval, faculty and tenure status, academic rank, race/ethnicity, and gender.

Spring Compendium Tables

The tables in this compendium present enrollment data for fall 2009, financial statistics for fiscal year 2009, and student financial aid data for academic year 2008-2009. Also included are graduation rate data for the 2003 and 2006 student cohorts.
