The DAS applications are located outside of this NCES Website. When you click a download link, you will get a page that says

You are now exiting the National Center for Education Statistics Website.

Shortly afterward, either the Save As or the File Download pop-up window appears.

• In the Save As pop-up window, select the directory where you want to save the downloaded file.
  
  
• Go to the directory where the file is located.
  
  
• Double-click the .EXE file to launch the installer.
  A menu appears.
  
  
• Click Install
  The Welcome window appears.
  
  
• Click Next
  The Enter Target Directory window appears. The Destination Folder should show C:\DASW.
  
  
• Click Next
  

• In the File Download pop-up window, select Save this Program to Disk.
  The Save As pop-up window appears.
  
  
• Select the directory where you want to save the downloaded file.
  
  
• Go to the directory where the file is located.
  
  

• Double-click the .EXE to launch the installer.
  A menu appears.
  
  
• Click Install
  The Welcome window appears.
  
  
• Click Next
  The Enter Target Directory window appears. The Destination Folder should show C:\DASW.
  
  
• Click Next
  

Your browser screen will continue to display the NCES website exit announcement until you click the Back button on the Browser tool bar.
