The Teacher Follow-up Survey (TFS) was sent in 2004–05 to a subsample of teachers who responded to the 2003–04 SASS Teacher Questionnaire. The Questionnaire for Former Teachers was sent to teachers who left the teaching profession. The Questionnaire for Current Teachers was sent to those who continued to teach, either in the same school or another school.
The Teacher Follow-up Survey collected data on the following topics: occupational conditions and experiences; job satisfaction; computers and technology, and changes during the last year and scheduling and planning time.
