Partners

Complex projects such as the PISA cannot be accomplished by only one agency or organization. Throughout the course of PISA, the National Center for Education Statistics has relied on various partners to provide support in every aspect of the study. Listed below are the organizations involved in PISA 2012.

PISA is a program of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) The OECD Secretariat has overall managerial responsibility for the program, monitors its implementation, acts as the secretariat for the PISA Governing Board, builds consensus among countries and serves as the interlocutor between the PISA Governing Board and the international consortium charged with the implementation of the activities.
As leader of the international PISA consortium, the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) manages the international implementation of PISA.
Westat is the U.S. data collection and analysis contractor for PISA 2012.
Pearson Educational Measurement is the U.S. printing, scoring, and coding contractor for PISA 2012.
