1 Socioeconomic status (SES) was measured by a composite score on parental education and occupations, and family income. The "low" SES group is the lowest quarter; the "middle" SES group is the middle two quarters; and the "high" SES group is the upper quarter.
NOTE: Race categories exclude persons of Hispanic ethnicity. Data for 2002 for persons reporting two or more races are not shown separately, but are included in totals. Detail may not sum to totals because of rounding. Standard errors appear in parentheses.
