/1/In 1999, one item was used to ask parents if they had attended an event sponsored by a community, ethnic, or religious group. In 2003, attendance at an event sponsored by a religious group was asked about separately from attendance sponsored by a community or ethnic group.
NOTE: The respondent was the parent most knowledgeable about the child's education. The responding parent reported on their own and their spouse's, or other household adults' activities. Excludes homeschooled children. Standard errors appear in parentheses.
