Summary:

On March 1, 2007, the Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems Grantee States met in Atlanta, Georgia, to discuss ways in which they may collaborate with one another, leverage best practices, and share lessons learned. To this end, Florida hosted a presentation on intrastate and interstate transcript exchange systems, and Wisconsin led the discussion on how a special interest group (SIG) could serve as a strategy for sharing LDS designs, reports, and analytics-to avoid "re-inventing the wheel."

The Florida Department of Education administers an in-state transcript exchange system and participates in an interstate exchange. Key characteristics, uses and applications of the system and its data will be described.
