Browser Requirements
Minimum browser version requirements:
Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator versions 4.x and above.
Browser settings required to enter, verify, and lock data:
- The browser should be set to always accept cookies.
- Browsers should also be set to look for the newest version of a stored page
- In some cases, the browser should be set to enable Java Script.
Checking or changing browser settings:
Microsoft IE 6.x:
- Select Tools, then Internet Options from the browser menu.

On the General tab, find Temporary Internet files,
and select Settings. Make sure Every visit to the
page is checked under "check for newer versions of stored pages",
and click OK.

On the Privacy tab, move the slider to any level EXCEPT the highest
one (which will block all cookies.) Or, if you are using the Advanced
setting (which overrides automatic cookie handling), make sure Accept
is checked for both "First-party Cookies" and "Third-party Cookies." Click
OK.
- Exit your browser in order for the new settings to take effect.
Microsoft IE 5.x:
- Select Tools, then Internet Options from the browser menu.
- On the General tab, find Temporary Internet files, and select Settings.

Make sure Every visit to the page is marked under
"check for newer versions of stored pages", and click OK.

On the Security tab, highlight Internet, click Custom
Level, click Enable Cookies. Click OK.

Exit your browser in order for the new settings to take effect.
Microsoft IE 4.x:
- Select View, then Internet Options from the browser menu.
- On the General tab, find Temporary Internet files, and select Settings.
- Make sure Every visit to the page is marked under "check
for newer versions of stored pages", and click OK.
- On the Advanced tab, under Security, make sure Always accept
cookies is marked under Cookies. Click OK. Exit your browser
in order for the new settings to take effect.
Netscape Navigator and Communicator:
- Select Edit, then Preferences from
the browser menu.

Click the button to the left of Advanced in the Category
listing. Click Cache.

Make sure Every time is marked for Document in Cache is compared to document on network.
- Click on Advanced in the Category listing. Make sure
Enable Java Script is marked, and that Accept
all Cookies is marked. Click OK.
- Exit your browser and restart in order for the new settings to take effect.
